WHAT OTHERS SAY

I enjoy the IGF dinner as it gives me the opportunity to celebrate the legacy of the work of Irene with the many others who have supported the IGF work. Meeting with the Ugandan team members is always an inspiration and a reminder that God is at work helping the future generations in Northern Uganda. The dinner is a time of fun, celebration and inspiration to all who attend.

The IGF dinner is a great event to dress up and support a fantastic cause. It's great to meet with like-minded people who share a desire to support the children at IGF. I love hearing from the team, John Paul and Pastor Alfred, about what is happening in Kitgum, and the stories of the children. It's a fun night with good food, entertainment, meeting friends, and supporting the children.

Elizabeth

We loved the dinner last year as I visited IGF in 1993 and my wife Nicole in 2001 and we went as a family in 2014 . We have sponsor children there and the dinner is fantastic to get an update of what is happening in Kitgum and to meet up with like minded people . We praise God for the testimonies of the great work God is doing there and this year we are bringing our pastors and their family to the dinner as they have a great heart for missions as well. I only became interested in mission as a young Christian when a couple called Ian and Marie Hill took me to a missions meeting . A great place to learn more about what God is doing and to get involved.

Jerry

Last years IGF dinner was especially fun because it was a 1920’s theme fancy dress competition with prizes. Also there was great entertainment with an African Ugandan style singing & dancing. The Ugandan jolly Achollies really know how to dance & party.

David

Lovely atmosphere - great music - delicious meal - and most importantly getting updates on the work of IGF and hearing touching testimonies of lives changed physically, emotionally and spiritually. A memorable evening.
